Caps snap 8 game losing streak

Matthieu Perreault scored twice as the Washington Capitals finally snap a 8 game losing streak against the Ottawa Senators 3-2.

After the final whistle, the Capitals jumped over the boards and mobbed goaltender Michal Neuvirth, pushing his net all the way back to the end boards.

It may have seen celebration was more suited to a stanley cup championship than a regular season win. But given the lengthy skid that saw the Capitals fall in the Eastern Conference standings and losing control of first place in the Southeast division, the Capitals can be excused f0r their reaction.

Christmas Wishes

This Christmas season kids will be writing to Santa and his Elves, from all over the world. The green grass will be covered in fluffy white snow. Santa will make sure that Rudolf's nose
is bright enough because if not he won't be able to guild his slay that night. Mrs. Claus is absolutely sure that all the kids this year have been good.

Randal is a six year old boy from Detroit and he is making a huge Christmas list for Santa this year. On his list he wants a new x60 hockey stick, an signed Alexander Ovechkin winter jersey, a new Ipod touch and docking station, a bulldog puppy, and a new 42in flat screen TV with a PS3.

Santa gets Randal's list the next morning and looks it over, he checks to see if he is on the nauty list. Then he takes it to his accountant who is stamping all the Christmas list as a good kid. Santa asked him what he was doing. The accountant said every kid deserves a Christmas present sir. Santa looked at him for along time and started to grin.

When it was time for Santa to leave and deliver the presents Rudolf and the reindeer had already been hooked up. Santa looked at Mrs. Claus and said that he wasn't feeling good. He then looked at his leader elf called Eddy and said I need you to deliver the presents. Eddy nodded and climbed into the slay. Eddy was doing a great job he was a head of time when he got to his last stop at Randal's house in Detroit. He unloaded all the presents and went down the chimney. When he got to the bottom he heard the puppy starting to bark. Then it started to get louder and louder. He looked behind him and saw a little boy watching him. Randal asked the little elf were was Santa. So Eddy explained on how Santa wasn't feeling to good and that he got Eddy to do the job. Finally Eddy gave the boy his puppy. Eddy asked what are you going to call it and Randal said Santa I'm going to call him Santa.

Tri-Town vs. Neepawa

The 1st period- The opening face was under way at one end Neepawa goalie and at the end me. We won the face off put then turned the puck over in came Neepawa's player he took the shot and it went wide. The puck came out the side to Neepawa's defensemen he wond up and let it rip but a good pad save by me. Then in the middle of the period the score already 3-0 Neepawa's player got a breakaway and came storming down the ice he took the but I flashed the leather what a save as our fans went wild! The period coming to a end Neepawa's defensemen took a blast from the point but again another great glove save by me. At the end of the period the shots were Neepawa 23 and Tri-Town 0 and the score was 3-0 for Neepawa.

The 2nd period- The puck was dropped at center ice Neepawa won the draw back to the defensemen he came up ice with it and took a shot Gerring made the save and the puck went out in front of the net a big rebound Neepawa's player was right there but Gerring came across and made a Huge save and covered it up. Off the draw Neepawa defensemen took a big slapshot but a pad save by Gerring and the puck went right on the Neepawa's player's stick put he couldn't put it in the wide open net. In the middle of the period we took a penalty so Neepawa went on the powerplay. The face off was won back to the defensemen he passed to a player that was wide open back door Gerring came across and robbed of a sure goal. After 30 mins the shots on goal in favour of Neepawa is 44 and for Tri-Town 1 the score 6-0 for Neepawa.

The 3rd period- At the start of the 3rd period Neepawa's player took a dumb penalty for interference. So we went on the powerplay. We got a few good chances on the powerplay but no goals. Neepawa came down the ice and almost scored but Gerring jumped on it. They pooked the puck free and went around the net then passed it out but another good save by Gerring. As the final buzzer goes the final score was 8-0 for Neepawa and shots on goal were 71-5 for Neepawa.

In this video hit shows the hit to the HEAD by James Harrison on Josh Cribbs

Hits to the Head N.F.L

I think that the hits to the heads and dangerous hits should be banned because the league needs to protect their players. However, the hits have to be reviewed by the league before the big suspinsion is given out.

Bautista Hits his 50 Homerun

In this video it shows Jose Bautista hit number 50

Bring an Object to Life

If I had to bring an object to life it would be Jose Bautista bat.

Me: How did it feel to break the Blue Jays record for most homeruns hit in a season?

Bat: It felt amazing on the crack of me smacking that ball out of the park I couldn't have felt better.

Me: Do you feel better now that the season over or do you miss it?

Bat: It feels good to be resting but, I wish that we could have mad playoffs.

Me: Do you think you would have gotten very far in the post season?

Bat: I would do all I can to help the team like any other night but, the question would be if our pitchers could to a good job.

Me: I understand that you have to go back to training with Jose Bautista, just one more question do you think that you will it more or less homeruns than last year?

Bat: It will be hard but I think that I could it more than what I hit last year.

Me: Thank you for your time and good luck this year.

Top 10 Stanley Cup Potentcial Teams

1. Washington Capitals- because Ovechkin and Backstrom both are going to have a great break out year. the also have great defensemen and young goalies.

2. Edmonton Oilers- because Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle, and Marcus Paajarvi are all going to have a amazing year. goaltending Nikolai Knabibulin is going to healthy all year long and is going to be a good continder for the Vesna trophy.

3. Calgary Flames- because they went 7-0 in the pre-season and Mikka Kiprusoff, Jarome Iginla, Olli Jikinen, and Alex Tanguay all played amazing in the pre-season.

4. Philadelphia Flyers- because if all their players like Briere, Carter, Leghton, Pronger, and Richards all stay healthy i believe that they can be in the playoffs and make to the Stanley Cup Finals.

5. Detroit Red Wings- because they have the dept in offense, deffense and goaltending and they are a very good playoff team.

6. Boston Bruins- because they all their good centremen returning and having Tyler Seguin there it will really bump up their offense. The goaltending well be there with Tukka Rask coming off one of his best seasons.

7. Los Angeles Kings- because they have all the offense and defense but, if they get good goaltending out of Jonathon Quick they will be a hard team to beat.

8. Vancouver Canucks- because they are a very well rounded hockey club just as long as the whole team shows up to playoffs not just Luongo they well be Stanley Cup champs for sure.

9. Toronto Maple Leafs- because if they keep their top line healthy they will be a good team and hard to beat. just as long they get the goaltending is good through the regular season and holds up through the post season i would not be suprised to see them go all the way.

10. Montreal Canadiens- because they are good at scoring but, the need help with their defense and goaltending. if Price puts out a good year and good post season i think good go as far as any other team in the NHL
